There isn't just one rare Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl version of Pokemon, there are a whole bunch. The rarest Pokemon in Diamond in Pearl that you can catch in Diamond and Pearl are: Giratina, Heatran, Manaphy, Palkia, Dialga, Arceus, Shaymin, Darkrai, Cresselia, Regigigas, Azelf, Uxie, Rotom, and Mesprit. Pretty much any of the Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl because there is only one of them in the game.
