I don't care if you wait for me but I won't = can't and refuse to wait for you,you see this especially while driving ,but in other cases to,it's turning the average person into a complete moron. Every generation thinks the the next is more selfish apparently. I have met and known some horrendously self-centered, egotistical people who are in their 80's today. I think we're dealing with something more complex.An isolated society.

Socialization is what is missing.

We don't live in villages anymore. Most of us, out in suburbia, don't even know our neighbors. Everybody is an island.

It's a side effect of the TV that people watch, which portray life as an entitlement, with everyone out for themselves. Since parents use TV to raise their children, so they can follow their own selfish pursuits, the children think that's the way life is supposed to work.

It kind of goes along with baby boomerism. Of course, some of the aging baby boomers can't see far enough to realize they are sharing the road with someone.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
