What's your favorite contemporary Christmas song--recorded in the last 5-10 years?

I listened to almost 3 hours of Christmas songs today on XM-Sirius radio on my drive to and from the airport--I love Christmas music! There are a LOT of Christmas songs, and many of them are by contemporary artists.Do you have a favorite one, and why? Christmas is All Around"...aka "If You Really Love Christmas" Ok, so it's the song from the movie Love Actually that a fictitious aging pop star sings to the tune of "Love is All Around" (by the Troggs). The has-been pop star, Billy Mack, is played by the sexy Bill Nighy. The joke through the movie is how absurd the new lyrics are and what a "festering turd of a record" it is.

But I have to tell you, it actually is catchy. Plus the joke is still funny. Makes me giggle and grin each time I hear it and see the video (which I've posted below in case you haven't seen the movie!...or need a smile!).

Remember - it really is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek! I have to tell you that everything else I've heard from the last 10 years is just rubbish (as far as Christmas music goes). Although, I will tell you that everytime I hear that blasted "Christmas Shoes" song, I laugh my arse off so much that I nearly wet myself a little.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
