" and the other, and this truly is my favorite Johnny Depp character, ''Edward Scissorhands.
Oh boy, there are so many of them, he is a really great actor. But I'm going with Edward Scissorhands, because as a kid feeling alone, and feeling like I was an outcast, Edward Scissorhands was the only character I could really relate to.
Sweeney Todd...but more so because I love Sondheim musicals than because I love Johnny Depp.
Ok, I'm going to gush...Ed Wood. Johnny really had something there when he created Ed Wood...always positive, always confident, yet vulnerable. Ed in the pink sweater...a scream.
When he dances like a harem girl...amazing. It was just hands down great...in large part due to Johnny's interpretation of how Ed Wood would be...and believe me, he HAD to have seen his movies!
I would have to agree with DIYweddingplanner. Edward Scissorhands shows a perfect shade of vulnerability unlike any other movie I've come across. I mean come on, a guy with 10 inch blades for hands and Vincent Price as a father figure?
Not to mention a neighborhood full of kooky, hostile hair-rejectees, a crazed boyfriend and a woman he could never have? It was only a matter a time before poor Edward would have committed suicide if it wasn't for that sweeter-than-molasses-Winona-Smile engraved in Edwards head that kept him going.
Ichabod Crane - Sleepy Hollow,followed by,Aberline - From Hell.
Captain Jack Sparrow for sure. He was amazing in the pirates of the Caribbean.
He's played some great characters. In fact, like DeNiro, I think the best thing one can say it that I really have no idea WHO Johnny Depp is because every character is so different, unlike many actors who seem to play themselves or the same type of person in every movie. My fav?
Jack Sparrow.
Wow there are so many that were great. Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribean was great. I also loved Johnny Depp's character in "Donnie Brasco.
Rochester in The Libertine - with Captain Sparrow a close second.

85love my yorkies saysI think Johnny Depp is one of the most versitile (?) actors of our time. I would have to say I have 3 fav characters from his movies. Of course, Capt.
Jack Sparrow, Ed Wood and Gilbert Grape. I think he would make a great Riddler for a Batman movie. You can help the HubPages community highlight top quality content by ranking this answer up or down.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
