Two words: Elvis Presley. He's absolutely the King of the genre and has had a major, major influence on modern music. Rockabilly still would have become famous, but without Presley it never would have achieved such mega success in such a short period of time.

I also loved the dancing involved in Rockabilly. The whole "swing" and laid back way of dancing made it fun and energetic. There is no wrong way to do it - just keep moving and you're golden.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
