When and where was Nioxin founded? What were their first products?

Nioxin, (Nioxin Research Laboraties, Inc. ) is based in Lathia Springs, Georgia and was founded in Atlanta, Georgain on September 3, 1983. Nioxin is one of the major line of products used and sold at Regis Hair Salons.

Their products are sold all across the United States and 39 countries worldwide. The focus of Nioxin is to solve a very common probably, thin and fine hair. I am not sure what the first product was, haven't found that in any research.

But the types of products Nioxin has are 8 Scalp & Hair Care systems products, which is designed to improve the appearance of thin hair by giving it more body. There are Intensive Therapy products designed to address all hair textures. Styling Volume is used to add weightless volume to the hair.

Styling Conrol is for use on medium to coarse hair.
