When are the 2010 Oscar Nominees announced?

The announcement event of Oscar nominees will take place on February 2, 2010 at 5:30am PST at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly CA. The biggest change this year is that there will be 10 movies nominated for Best Picture instead of the usual 5 for the past 66 years. The list of official presenters for the 2010 nomination event has not been announced as of yet.

The 82nd Academy Awards ceremony will be held on March 7, 2010 5pm PST/8pm EST (televised live on ABC) at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, CA. This year's hosts are Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.
