When Conservatives say they're against bigger government, do they just mean the Federal government?

I see what you did there with the avatar and name. I applaud you good sir. They are both pretty serious.

We know the president was involved in Watergate, which was a bit more than a hotel break in. Fast and furious is a big deal because people died, and the DOJ and POTUS are doing a lot protect documents.

Watergate involved the President attempting to subvert the Dept of Justice to foil an investigation. Fast and Furious' coverup appears to go no higher than Attorney General, and is not particularly wide ranging. It's a scandal, but it's a ant hill compared to Watergate's Everest.

Sure, the original offense is worse, but the coverup and abuse of power is the more serious matter.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
