Howard Hughes died on April 5, 1976 on board a plane owned by Robert Graf. An autopsy done later determined that he died from kidney failure. At the time of his death, Howard Hughes was in horrible shape.
He was 6'2", weighed 90 pounds, and he had the tips of hypodermic needles embedded in his arms.
