Because you've jumped the gun a little bit. Your friend needs to approve the request for the addition to be complete. When that happens, you'll see his or her name appear.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
