I am not a doctor or a therapist. If you have a cosmetic defect that makes you feel bad about yourself, if your body is done developing, if the part of your body you want to have fixed is causing you pain or makes it hard for you to function, plastic surgery may be right for you. Plastic surgery is more than cosmetic when the results of the surgery will make your life more tolerable.
If you have an architectural problem or defect that makes it hard for you to eat, breath, walk or causes you a lot of discomfort, you have a medical problem that is more than cosmetic. From WebMD -quote When you talk to your surgeon, be open about what you want, but be willing to listen to their recommendations. They may recommend a different procedure to achieve a similar result.
-endquote You can make almost any skeletal or soft tissue modification with plastic surgery. The best way to find a good plastic surgeon is to talk to people in your area who have had plastic surgery. Don’t go to web sites or Facebook pages of plastic surgeons to get information; there is a risk you will only get positive information and/or testimonials there.
You want to talk to people one on one to get an honest impression of a surgeon. From WebMD -quote Talk to friends or family members who may have undergone similar cosmetic surgery. -endquote Since most plastic surgery is fairly minor, you can expect it will take about six weeks for most of the pain and swelling to go away.
This will vary depending on the type of surgery you have and on how good/fast a healer you are. From WebMD -quote "A lot of these patients tend to be busy and active. Recovering from surgery shuts your life down for a few weeks." -endquote You will probably have scars from plastic surgery.
How much scarring you’ll have and how visible it will be will depend on the type of surgery you have done. Most good plastic surgeons will do their best to minimize the effects of scarring and will prescribe treatments after surgery to reduce it (if applicable.) How long the benefits of plastic surgery will last depends on what kind of surgery you have done. Some surgeries, especially surgeries that modify bony structures, can last for decades.
Plastic surgery that changes soft tissue will likely have to be refined with more surgery within a decade or two. Good luck to you! I hope you found this information helpful.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
