A leap year occurs in any year divisible by 4. So 2012 will be the next leap year.
Every US presidential year. 2012. Or possibly next month.
2012. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The last one started on Friday, February 29, 2008.
A leap year occurs in a year that's divisible by 4. Because the Earth takes about 365-1/4 days to orbit the Sun but it's even slightly less than that, a leap year will occur on every year divisible by 4 unless they are divisible by 100, then they are NOT leap years, unless they are also divisible by 400, then they ARE leap years again. The length of the Gregorian year we use for the calendar which is slightly longer than Earth's orbital period around the Sun as from one Vernal Equinox to the other, is 365.2425 days.
The tropical year which the calendar year length should be shortened to is actually about 365.24219 days or 365.2421875 days to be more precise. This is why there's going to be a change in the leap year system in the future and the Earth continues losing momentum in its rotation and the years are getting shorter but regardless of all that aftermath, the next leap year will come next year to compensate for the extra day we accumulated within the last 4 years and so forth.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
