Mahalo updates your pending revenue share, both for pages and for Q&A daily (though there are often times when there are no updates for a few days and at times over a week). On the 1st of each month, they confirm the ad revenue for the first half of the prior month with Google, at which time it is moved from your pending rev share to your Mahalo dollar balance. On the 15th of each month they confirm the ad revenue from the second half of the previous month, and transfer that into your balance.
Having said all that, the reason you have not seen any pending revenue share is that only a small fraction (~5%) of question threads generate any ad revenue, even if many people view them. Revenue is generated on Mahalo when people click through to an ad, not when the ad is simply displayed. In addition, when Mahaloians are logged in, they see the question thread without ads, so you may have lots of views from Mahalo members who don't see ads, don't click on ads, and thus generate no revenue.
Revenue appears to be much more likely when there are great questions and answers, so unanswered questions have a much lower likelihood of generating revenue than Best Answers (there is also a higher cap - M$200 for Best Answer vs. M$100 for a question). In short, Q&A rev share is a great incentive, and a great way for Mahalo to spread the wealth. However, if you're on Mahalo for the moneymaking opportunity, you should start building pages that are likely to generate ad click-throughs.
Check the page management leaderboard to see what types of pages do especially well (see http://www.mahalo.com/leaderboard/pages?sort=payout&dir=down&time=all ). Good luck!
Revshare funds get deposited on the 1st and the 15th of every month. However, the figure that gets added to your balance might not directly correspond to the "Pending Revshare" figure you would have seen the day before. Let's take the next (July 1st) deposit as an example.
On June 30th, you might see 3.75 "Pending revshare" in your Mahalo statistics, but only 2.50 of this might be deposited on July the 1st. The remaining 1.25 would go in on July 15th, and more than likely have another dollar or two added to it by then. In other words, the "Pending Revshare" payment is a week or so behind, or "Pending Revshare" right now does not mean "Due to be deposited to your account on the next payment date" (some of it could be the one after that).
As regards making revshare from specific questions or answers, unfortunately views alone are no guarantee of success. For instance, I have a Best Answer that has over 3,000 views, but the revenue between the asker and I so far is only about 5 cents each. Also, only a small percentage of questions tend to end up generating any revshare at all.
Because of this, there's no agreed formula as regards how to generate revshare from questions and answers. The thread below might be of some interest to you. http://www.mahalo.com/answers/internet-how-tos/how-to-ask-mahalo-questions-that-can-generate-high-google-adsense-revenue.
The 1st and 15th of every month is what is say on the mahalo dollars page.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
