We are all called upon by God and Christ Jesus to be "Stewards" In each person's life we are given tasks to perform as well as people in our lives, to care for. We are also given opportunities to reach out to those lost to God and help God to guide them back into the fold like a shepherd. If we take a look at the bigger picture, we are stewards of all earth, and how we leave it whether it be filled with garbage or looking pristine and beautiful, is as much our responsibility as the next person's.
I could go on and on with this. But It is only a question.
Stewardship is far more reaching than just concern for the Earth. It is far more important to be a good steward of the gifts, talents, and callings that God has placed in our lives. If He has given you the ability to teach and you don't teach, then you are not a good steward of the gift He has given you. It's not limited to teaching, but to any gift, talent, or calling.
Stewardship encompasses money, material possessions, children, relationships, thoughts, words, actions, and so on. Every aspect of our lives is subject to stewardship and we will be held accountable for what we've been given.
As one who's not even sure there is a god, I'd say being a good steward means becoming in sync with the rightness and truth of your existence. Many of the guides to behavior that mankind has created — the golden rule, the ten commandments, karma, higher consciousness, nirvana, etc. — are alternate ways of helping us find those behaviors that feel most correct deep in our core being. To the degree that we approach correctness, truth, beauty, honesty, fairness, kindness, love and compassion, then we become good (and better) stewards.
Good stewardship is giving the best of what you have to the Lord. We can learn lessons of how God views this matter by studying the story of Cain and Abel. Some people who are rich think they are good stewards when they put a $100 in the offering plate, but the person that is poor that gives the $5 is a better steward because they gave all they had.
Giving in faith according to God's word on giving is learning to be the best steward.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
