Don't write back anything. Don't trust this guy with money. Decide whether he is worth hanging out with while you'll be buying everything, or if he wasn't really all that cool.

I doubt you will get your money. I've known one guy who sounded like your friend who eventually, after three years or so, paid me back--someone who starts talking like that is trying to tell you why you won't get paid and hope you won't be too mad. So you need to assume you are not getting your money.

Now, do you still want to be friends with him? If so, make his money problems his and not yours--don't give him any money.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
