Longhaired dude: Except that these people didn’t come from the area and aren’t descended from the original Philistines and simply dredged up the name from antiquity that up until that point had been used almost exclusively to refer to Jews, not Arabs. Palestine isn’t even a word in Arabic, it’s an English word based on the Roman Latin translation of the HEBREW word for Invaders, which the ancient Hebrews used to refer to the Philistines who weren’t even Arabs but Mycenaean Greeks. The original deal was fairly simple, the Jews living on the Arab land would move and the Arabs living on the Jewish land would move.
The League created Jordan and the Jews who had been living there either fled for their lives or were hunted down and killed. Then the League created Israel and the Jews offered citizenship to anyone who stayed, but most of the Arabs packed up and left, expecting to return after Jordan killed off the Jews, but it didn’t work out that way. Israel accepted all the Jewish refugees from Jordan, but Jordan refused to accept the Arabs from Israel, rounded them up and put them in camps the West Bank (which they took from Israel) and held them out as a political eye sore in hopes of using them as a political weapon.
Israel inherited the problem when it took the West Bank back from Jordan in 1967.
Who killed over 300 children alone in Gaza in 2008, who killed women and said 'they were being used as human shields' with no evidance, who bombed a UN school and said it was being used by hamas militants and it turned out to be full of kids. Who forced the British to give the Jews the Palestinian land. Were terrorised in our our own land and you call us terrorists.
If your going to tell me 'well the Jews lived there before Arabs many hundreds of years ago' that would be basicaly pathetic, imagine the world wed live in. Palestine was always ours will always be ours and in a few years will be freed by the mehdi...one day, and I hope ill be alive then.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
