With versatile wingers nowadays that can move into striking positions while in game, the 4-3-3 is much more effective, at least for clubs who use an attacking philosophy... the 4-4-2 is more rigid but can get you results and is a better defensive tactic. If you want success with a 4-4-2 you've got to be solid at the back and dominate posession as you can't really counter or explode from the flanks, you're best bet to score is long balling to target men up top.
Yes it still works. Atletico Madrid and Man City are good at it but now, Man City are using 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-2 was a fail last season but I think its because other teams suss them out, sort of like Chelsea now, they are basically using the same team as last season with the same game plan and they just like Man City had to do this season need to refresh things.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
