Well, I'm out in the country and do go far or get out much at all, but a couple years ago when I lived in Dallas it wasn't uncommon. Really though, if I make eye contact with someone I nearly always will greet them first.
About 3 hours ago. Here in Tennessee you have to run to keep people from saying 'good morning' or 'hey' or 'how ya doin.
I am not sure when someone said it to me, but I said it to two community police officers yesterday when they went by my house as I was going out to get the morning paper. Neither responded.
Just early this morning in town I met a complete stranger, she said good morning to me.
In the military and particualrly the marine Corps, it is taught as part of our customs and courtesies. It is just expected.
For me it was a few days ago. I say hello to almost everyone who passes by me.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
