When was the last time Iran charged an or any American(s) with espionage?

A few months before these three Americans were charged of espionage by Iran in July 2009; an American journalist named Roxanna Saberi was charged of espionage by Iran, back in April 2009. She was arrested in January 2009. She was first sentenced for 8 years imprisonment, but later the sentenced was reduced to 2 years suspended sentence.

She was released in May 2009. Now, the severity of punishment depends upon the gravity of the charges and the testimonials, evidences, witnesses etc. But as far as I think, they will not be punished with death sentence. Perhaps a long imprisonment.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
