Downtown Chipley is taking on a new look as funds from the Chipley Redevelopment Agency (CRA) are being used to update and give new life to the 'Shops On The Alley'. Shops along Railroad Avenue have long been a popular place with local business people, but now the businesses are expanding to include a back entrance on the alley facing the city parking lot on Hwy 77 and Hwy 90. Providing the perfect place for customers to park, 'Shops On The Alley' currently feature entrances to Persnickety's Consignment Boutique, The Den and Celebrations.

Persnickety's Consignment Boutique, owned and operated by Jackie Baxley, is now open for business and she invites area ladies to stop by and see what the shop has to offer. From clothes to shoes and purses, there are special buys available. Jackie will only accept lightly used clothing items for sale and offers them at reasonable prices.
