When you cut off damaged hair, will it grow back damaged?

Depending on how split your ends are. Usually a hairstylist will cut about an inch off to trim and remove split ends. However, you mentioned that some of the splits go a little below your shoulder, but your hair is mid-back.

Your hair sounds pretty damaged. If you want all the split ends gone you will have to cut off above the ends that are split, so a little below your shoulders. Although, if the some you are talking about are part of the layered hair, then less will be taken off.

I would get your hairstylist's opinion. She/he will know what is best for your hair and how damaged it really is. Never be afraid to tell a hairstylist your concerns.

Any good hairstylist will listen and then give an honest opinion.

Depends how much is damaged. You could ask the hair stylist first to see how much it would be BEFORE you get it cut , just to make sure it is how much you want cut off. Maybe you shouldn't straighten it everyday OR if you want to then definitely ask the hair stylist for tips.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
