Sadas Georges was the General of the Iraqi Air force under Saddam Hussein. I read his book some time after we invaded and I think before Saddam was hung. General Sadas Georges said in his book that just before we invaded the Russians had come in (and that in the news at the time) and they and others assisted Iraqi workers in loading evidence of weapons of mass destruction on to planes (and he gives the serial numbers of the planes in the book) and few them to Syria.
He was interviewed about it but (I'm guessing) because it did not fit the popular (Democrat) narrative at the time, it was brushed under the rug and has been ignored ever since.
I think the US State Department still has copies of the receipts that were signed when they sold them to him back in the Ronny Raygun era.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
