Your best bet, eBay I had a dead LCD monitor that was given to me for free, and I determined what part I needed. I found a dead unit in ebay for $25 delivered, and now have a great 2nd monitor on my system. It is absolutely the cheapest place to easily source spare parts such as these..

Sometimes it doesn't pay... First, you are correct, I could not find a PDU-2728 (the extra screen) anywhere on the net. I did find the manual for your player so I could check the connections you needed. polaroid.com/service/userguides/ce/porta... They are standard composite, RCA cables, for both video and audio.

This means that virtually any TV or LCD screen with RCA in for video and audio will work as a slave to your player. Obviously, you would need a power adapter too so that you could power it from the car power port. When all is said and done, the power adapter would cost you around $50-75 assuming you had a very small TV that you could use.

If not, a 7" screen, by itself looks like it costs around $75 minimum. My strong suggestion is to just purchase an additional portable DVD player and screen. This will save you money and aggravation if 2 people (children?) want to watch different movies at the same time.

Another thought is to purchase another Polaroid for $109, have an extra base unit as well as the accessory screen. Hope this helps. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
