Where can I find out what old magazines are worth?

I'd recommend looking on eBay to see what past issues have sold for. search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl...There" rel="nofollow">search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl... are currently 45 auctions ongoing, with ranging in cost from 99 cents (with no bids for a Feb. 1980 issue) to $151 (with 7 bids for an Oct.1946 issue). http://search-completed.ebay.com/ebony-magazine_W0QQcatrefZC5QQfbdZ1QQfclZ3QQfisZ2QQflocZ1QQfposZ60657QQfromZR14QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ3QQfssZ0QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQnojsprZyQQpfidZ0QQsaaffZafdefaultQQsabdloZ1QQsacatZQ2d1QQsacqyopZgeQQsacurZ0QQsadisZ200QQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ0QQsaslopZ1QQsbrsrtZlQQsofocusZbsQQsorefinesearchZ1?GetResult&catref=C5&fbd=1&fcl=3&fis=2&floc=1&fpos=60657&from=R14&frpp=50&fsoo=1&fsop=3&fss=0&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&nojspr=y&pfid=0&saaff=afdefault&sabdlo=1&sacat=-1&sacqyop=ge&sacur=0&sadis=200&sargn=-1&saslc=0&saslop=1&sbrsrt=l&sofocus=bs&sorefinesearch=1Looking at completed auctions (with at least one bid) for old Ebony magazines, there are 114 recently completed, and they range in price from 99 cents (for an issue from 1979) to $109 (for a June 1950) issue.

Issues with more compelling cover topics are getting the highest prices. The Oct.1946 issue featured football players, and the June 1950 issue featured baseball. Sources: search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl... .

CoverArt. Com has lots of magazine covers .

1 I was wondering also is there a site where interested buyers of these magazines might be found.

How much are playboy magazines worth from the year of1950.

What would be the worth of Life and Ebony magazines from the early 1960's.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
