Requesting transcripts (individuals):You have two easy and convenient options for getting copies of your federal tax return information--tax return transcripts and tax account transcripts--by phone or by mail. Request transcripts by calling 1-800-829-1040, or order by mail using IRS Form 4506T (Request for Transcript of Tax Return). We do not charge a fee for transcripts.
Allow two weeks for delivery. Definitions:A tax return transcript shows most line items from your tax return (Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) as it was originally filed, including any accompanying forms and schedules. It does not reflect any changes you, your representative or the IRS made after the return was filed. In many cases, a return transcript will meet the requirements of lending institutions such as those offering mortgages and for applying for student loans.
A tax account transcript shows any later adjustments either you or the IRS made after the tax return was filed. This transcript shows basic data, including marital status, type of return filed, adjusted gross income and taxable income. Sources: http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html .

I am 23, my husband is 24 years old. We have both received unemployment benefits for the year 2009 and neither of us worked at all. We also didn't opt to take out taxes from our checks.
Should we expect any type of return for claiming our son as a dependant or do you think we might have to pay a lot of money. The last time I didn't work and opted out of taking taxes from my unemployment checks I paid $88 dollars on my taxes. However I wasn't married and I had no dependants.
Also my husband is a full time student. Should we file seperately this year. And if we do should he claim him on his taxes since he's the student.
Or should I claim him? » reply | email this pageThis last year I have noSubmitted by Guest (not verified) on January 18, 2010 - 2:42pm. This last year I have no worked at all but I am a full time student and a single mom.My parents claimed my daughter on their taxes and are trying to tell me that they won't get any money for claiming her.
This just doesn't sound right to me me though so I was wondering if anyone knew if they were lying to me or they really don't get money for her. I mean it is my kid and id like my money for her. If they are stealing my money how do I get it back?

Each kid is almost worth $2000 so be careful in letting them do that. They have a new deal this year if you have 3 kids you get back almost $6000.It use to be you could only claim 2 kids per household. 2 You should have saved a copy from when you did the taxes. If you used an on-line preparation service such as Turbo Tax, you should have printed out two copies instead of just the one you sent the IRS. If you had someone do them for you, you should have received two copies, minimum.
You should save your tax returns for - depending upon who you listen to - anywhere from 7-10 years.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
