Veterans Day is tomorrow, Wednesday 11/11/09. Make the day off special for your family by planning some easy Veterans Day activities that you can all do together. Veterans Day Worksheets: Printing out some worksheets to do as a family, gives you an opportunity to do a history lesson with your kids on the origin and meaning of Veteran's Day.
You'll probably learn a few things yourself in the process. Veterans Day Crafts for the family: Grab some popsicle sticks, markers or paint, glue and construction paper and make a Veteran's Day Stick Flag. These are great to take along and give to vets if you head out to the local parade.
Veterans Day Coloring Pages: A great way to celebrate with the younger kids. I love this coloring page of a soldier saluting a flag (choose "Salute") from TheColor.com. Send your respect to a veteran you know with a free eCards: American Greetings Blue Mountain Or better yet, make a homemade card for a vet you know a more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
