Consumer Reports is one of the best places to consult for all reviews and information on products. You can also check the ratings on retail sites such as Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, and Amazon in order to see what consumers are saying about the products. You are unlikely to find direct comparisons between desktops and laptops but you can draw comparisons on BizRate and Best Buy by picking the different computers you are looking at and going from there.
When you do this it will bring up a screen showcasing all the technical information about both computers side by side. Obviously there will be greater differences because you are looking at a desk top and a lap top but it will help you to see where the big differences are.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
