I would call many insurance agents to get rates.
1First things first, find the car/cars you are interested in, you can use Google search, Auto-Trader, Gumtree and other local motor traders. 2Take notes of the registration number of the vehicles you are interested in so when you call an insurance company, you can have them quote you on all of them, they cannot refuse to do this as long as you have the registration number, you can apply this same method to self-quotes from online. 3Get online before buying your vehicle, take a complete day or two out where you focus on comparing car insurance, websites such as gocompare, money super-market etc are great sites so use them, you can also use Google search to search specifically for insurance companies for young drivers.
4Avoid choosing a car such as a BMW with a large engine, anything with sports as apart of the description or specification will raise your premium. 5Check if the vehicle was a previous write-off, this will increase the premium - it is likely to have mechanical problems which will case you to claim on your insurance. 6Check your area rating, this is something most insurance companies use to help rate your premium, if you live in a area with high crime rates, your insurance will be affected by this, as the vehicle is at risk of being stolen or damage, get a better postal code.
7If you can avoid insuring your vehicle during the winter period as this is a high risk time of the year, with snow and the rain most accidents happen during this time so its natural for insurance premiums to go up this time of the year, which may leave you feeling not so merry. 8Avoid getting any driving convictions, most insurance companies won't insure you as you become a high risk driver, ie for a speeding conviction your price will be higher because you are at risk of driving too fast and causing an accident where your insurance company will have to pay for your vehicle damage, damage to yourself and others and of course the other driver's vehicle. 9If you've had a minor/small bump on your vehicle and this does not include you damaging any other vehicles, try not to make a claim as this will fallow you for up to 3 years and with some insurance companies it can be longer, this will increase your price by a lot, so don't let anyone tell you, its only a small bump it won't cost the insurance company anything much so your price won't be affected by too much.
A scratch may cost you £100 to fix with your insurance company it will cost a lot more as they are using third party companies who can add extra cost for service which in most cases result in £100s added to your price. 10Try using multi car insurance companies if there are more than one vehicles in your household, companies such as Admiral does multi car policies which allows you to build up your own no claims discount (NCD) but by being on a policy with more experience drivers ie mom and or dad you will benefit from a more relaxed price.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
