She died in Paris, France, hence some confusion on dates and time zones, it was in l989 as I was going to the Hoboken Railroad fest at the time. By a curious oversight I happened to get a free ride- a tour of the terminal yards- in of all things N.J. Transit- ex-Erie Lackawanna- Car #l603. Why is this number odd- Elizabeth I who was played by Bette Davis in two different films- died in l603!
I mentioned this and several people saw the coincidence. There are more details in the book More than a Woman- on Bette Davis death and funeral arrangements. She was buried in a French style Mahogany Casket= the(Empress) style- and was laid out in a Black Empire Gown- also originating in France!
More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
