Where did soldiers spend most of their time during ww1?

The bulk of fighting for active soldiers during WW1 for both sides was spent mostly in the trenches. The length of the trenches put up by both the Allies and the German forces on the Western Front in late 1914 ran from the Swiss border in the south all the way up to the French& Belgian coast in the north. This necessitated the manning by millions of soldiers, rain or shine, in deep mud or snow, in any weather, for more than 4 murderous years.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
