The film's mansion was at the Gaither Plantation in Covington, GA. Writer, director, actor and comedian Tyler Perry must have been impressed with Newton County during his first visit in 2005 to film "Madea's Family Reunion. "Perry will be back in April, this time in downtown Covington, to film his new movie, "Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys."City Manager Steve Horton said a location scout indicated filming will take place in and around Town House Cafe on Washington Street on April 10.

Horton said he believes filming will take place both inside the restaurant and outside on the sidewalk or street. James Hamm, owner of Town House Cafe, said he had spoken with a production representative but did not have a confirmed date for filming. A publicist declined to answer questions, but did release a synopsis of the film.

Academy Award winner Kathy Bates and Academy Award nominee Alfre Woodard will star as matriarchs of two very different families being torn apart by greed and scandal in the drama, according to a synopsis from Lionsgate Publicity. Bates plays a wealthy socialite who is friends with working class woman Woodard. The women's lives become mired in turmoil as their children's extramarital affairs, unethical business practices and a paternity secret threaten to derail family fortunes and unravel relationships.

In the midst of all this, the two women decide to take a cross country road trip to rediscover themselves and find a way to save their families. Perry, who wrote, and is directing and producing the film, will also star. The movie will begin shooting in the Atlanta area at the end of this month and will be released Sept.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
