Austin, TX 78738) is a quaint cobblestone cottage nestled outside of Austin on Highway 71. Despite its unassuming design (there's barely any signage) or perhaps because of it, The Emerald restaurant has become an Austin staple for fine dining. Candle-lit tables, warm ambiance, top-notch service, and fantastic food ranging from Authentic Irish Cuisine to Fine French Errata make this place one of the most romantic restaurants I have ever been to EVER, and certainly the finest I have been to in Austin.

The Main Street Grill (118 E Main Ave , Round Rock , TX , 78664) is another fabulous restaurant with four-star food and, as is usually the case, four-star prices. To me, the atmosphere is worth it. The restaurant is actually a retrofitted bank.
