The thermostat is located below the intake plenum assembly, on the passenger side. I believe you can see a part of the thermo from the pass side It is a labor intensive process to replace it, hence the ~$300 repair quote from dealership. A lot of engine components have to come off to get to the thermo The trickiest part of the replacement is finding the tool to undo the hose clips that hold the rubber on the plenum.
These clips are called clic-R collar hose clamps. I've found a few vendors on eBay who sell the tool, but can't find it in/on any tool website. This guys eBay store seels the tool stores.ebay.com/KONIKTOOLS CLIC-R COLLAR PLIERS 1212.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
