Where should I stay when visiting Santa Monica and Venice Beach?

I was recently in Santa Monica, California for work and I stayed at one of the nicest places I have ever been to. The name of the hotel is The Case Del Mar. It is beautiful place located right off the beach of Santa Monica, located right next to the world renowned Shutters on the Beach.

This too is also a fantastic place, but I feel that the service and the amenities are just a little better at the Casa Del Mar. This is speaking to the nicest place I’ve stayed. I can’t foresee what you may be looking to spend, or the exacts at which you’re looking to do.

If you have the money, you can’t find a better place. With all that said, regardless, I would recommend that you stay in Santa Monica over Venice. In my opinion, it is a bit more family and tourist friendly, and yes, the two beaches are within walking distance.
