Like any place, there are certain areas that can get a little dicey. BY no means is Santa Monica a “bad†place to be. The area is bright and well populated and the residents are friendly.
I can’t speak directly to streets and such because for the most part, all of it is pretty safe. The closer you get o Venice, the more you may want to pay attention. There is an area referred to by the locals as Ghost town.
This is only located a few blocks from the tourist areas, but it most definitely is a place you don’t want to get lost in. As always, pay attention to your surroundings, and you’ll be just fine. With today’s information age, there is no way one should get lost.
Have a plan and maps. Be respectful of the communities you are in, an you shouldn’t have any problem. The Santa Monica and Venice area are great places to have fun.
Don’t be naive to your surroundings, be aware, and pay attention. Above all else, have fun. Heck, it’s LA!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
