One of your best bets for finding good deals on books during the holidays is to shop online at Amazon. In my experience they are able to offer the most popular titles at consistently low prices. I would say that about 25% of the time I might be able to find something for a dollar or two cheaper, but on those few occasions when I am able to find something cheaper elsewhere, the difference is usually minor.
If you are a member of a program like Borders Rewards there may be an instance or two where a coupon that they send you will save you over Amazon, but again, when comparing on a price to price basis, Amazon is almost always a better deal in my experience. As an example, here are the prices of a couple of the most popular titles during the holidays this year and what Amazon, Borders and B&N are selling them for: Decision Points by George W. Bush – Amazon ($18.89), B&N ($20.47), Borders ($18.90) The Confession by John Grisham – Amazon ($15.48), B&N ($16.71), Borders ($15.48).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
