Josephine March is the protagonist and the main character of the novel. She is the second-oldest of March sister. She is called as Jo and possesses a dream to be a writer. It is believed that the character is based on Louisa May Alcott herself.
The story is a semi-autobiography. Jo has a temper and a quick tongue, although she works hard to control both. She is a tomboy, and reacts with impatience to the many limitations placed on women and girls.
She hates romance in her real life, and wants nothing more than to hold her family together.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
