Which Colleges or Universities are reducing tuition for the 2010-2011 school year?

The River Bible Institute has scholarships available for applicants - they advertised that on Twitter recently which is where I saw it, so there must be quite a few available but I don't know if that is new or they always have done that. So if you qualify, then yes I would guess your tuition would be reduced or more, however I am not sure if you call a bible institute a college or not? I have heard the phrase bible college used by people to refer to them.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for - this is an applied program leading to a specific job when you graduate, not a general program where you still have to figure out how to find a job to use the degree for when you graduate. Not all programs are accepted for credit at other institutions so if you want to do that also, check. This is sounds like a stand alone program, not one where you take this qualification and try to gain admission to other college or university programs to get even more qualifications for more years of study to maybe specialize - it sounds like you get it, and then you are finished school and go out and do the job.

Isn't that what it sounds like to you from the website? Have you ever heard of a college advertising that scholarships are available on Twitter? Doesn't it make you think that there may be a shortage of good people to do the job?

If I were you I'd check to see if graduates find work from programs. Local colleges and universities here have had trouble with students graduating and never finding work and ending up driving taxis! River BIble Institute (scholarships available they say) revival.com/rbi They also have a School of Worship, or a music school I guess to train to be a Worship Leader but I did not notice scholarships mentioned, you could check it out here yourself if interested, maybe they have some too: http://www.revival.com/rsw you can see their students singing at events broadcast from http://www.revival.com live Sundays at 10 am Tampa, Florida time or rebroadcast all week 24/7 ) If you check EVERY college and university that you are interested in, and apply for the scholarships or grants then you could get reduced or eliminated tuition or money on top of that.

Often graduate programs have more such opportunities but you have to apply usually for each and every scholarship separately. The advantage of a smaller place like this one at the River Bible Institute, is that it looks like you apply for a scholarship with your admission and would have less paperwork to fill out. Some larger universities and colleges have dozens and dozens of different application forms to fill out with separate information for all their scholarships and that does not include the scholarships that you can search separately by using online or large library Scholarship and Grant books to find more to apply for - you could be talking hundreds of application forms to fill out!

I know someone who did that once looking just for grants for financial need, and spent over a hundred dollars in postage alone just to send in the preliminary letter to request the application form or send in the first letter of inquiry - then they didn't even get acceptance into the program! And you have to do that separately with each institution you apply for so just applying to get a reduction or scholarship money can quickly get very complicated, time consuming and expensive. For more info on free tuition see this question that I had asked earlier: Best Universities and Colleges with Free Tuition http://www.mahalo.com/answers/education/best-universities-and-colleges-with-free-tuition.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
