Today Muslims are dominant on about 47 countries. Most of them are predominately Muslim countries but few of them were not predominately Muslim countries but they took independence from other countries and declare them selves as Muslim countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Bosnia etc. But popular and historical predominant Muslim countries are Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the first Muslims state, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Morocco and Turkey. These countries are predominately Muslims because of its geographic location which is near to Saudi Arabia where Medina exists which was first Muslim state and Islam spread from there.
Other countries like Malaysia and Indonesia are also predominately Muslim but they are converted to Muslim countries after the Arabs and African states. So now days Mostly Northern African countries and Gulf States are predominately Muslim countries.
