There is this pill that the vet will give you. After your cat takes it the fleas will instantly start dropping off of it and dieing until there are none left. BUT lol my mother always used a home remedy that worked just as well.

Cod Liver Oil pills. She'd bust them over the cat and rub the oil in they're fur and keep them in a cat carrier over night and they would have absolutely no fleas after that. Only bad thing is they'd stink like crazy and need a bath immediately.
