In large airlines two pilots meet on duty, maybe twice a month, if even that. Cabin crews maybe more often, depending on type and duration of flights. You cannot choose because you are last on seniority list as a youngest employee and have no vote in anything.
As your seniority grows you will be eligible for choosing destinations, colleagues and duty time.
Cabin crew are rostered, They are allocated shifts and depending on the airline you also have stand by duties. These are waiting on the ground and if someone calls in sick or any other reason that they can't make it to work that day then you would be off on that flight. So no you can't just jump on a flight with your mates.
Most of the no frill airlines do not stop over in there destination snow and all return to the UK. So if you were thinking of jumping on the flight with you mate and having a couple of days away with your besty and someone paying you for the pleaseure of you doing that then I would think again.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
