I prefer the bleach solution I always keep an old dish liquid squirt bottle filled with bleach and water 50/50 mix. I squirt some solution on the damp dish rag or sponge and wipe down all the counters, stove top, sink, use it for cleaning up pet accidents (on a paper towel), kills mold or mildew in the tubs and showers, give a squirt into the toilets and brush, squirt on landscaping timbers that are going green, wet down cement and squirt with bleach solution, kills slippery moss and mold on bricks, great to treat a stain on white laundry on the way into the machine. I tried to use my bleach solution in a 'spray bottle' but the sprayer didn't last too long so I switched to the 'squirt bottle'.

Works great! I just can't imagine doing all this with rubbing alcohol. Sources: My experience HELENofTROY's Recommendations COX02490CT Ultra Clorox® Germicidal Bleach, 96-oz.
