Vanderbilt, but it depends on how you define "better. " Vanderbilt is higher ranked, meaning you will have an easier time finding a job and the job will likely be higher paying. Law is purely a numbers game from the LSAT and the GPA numbers that get you into school, to the GPA that gets you onto law review, to the rank of the school you go to and the GPA that will determine how much money you make and where you will be able to find work.

Most people are best off going to the highest ranked school they can get into. Does that mean that Vanderbilt is actually "better" than Emory? Doubtful.

The difference in quality of education inside the top tier is almost negligible. You will get a comparable education at Harvard or University of Wisconsin; just at Harvard you will get more opportunities and brush shoulders with people, who because of the Harvard stamp on their degrees and the opportunities, will become the movers and shakers in the legal profession. In sum, neither is objectively "better," but the higher rankes school (Vanderbilt) is subjectively better in the eyes of hiring partners, so chose Vanderbilt unless you have a compelling reason for going to Emory (location, legacy, family ties, scholarship)..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
