No. It was started by the Bush Administration. If you need to blame someone, blame the AG under Bush.
First of all, I don't believe that Eric Holder started anything on his own. He is part of a much larger operation that involves the entire Administration, and if anything, he is taking the fall for his superiors. Don't think for a minute that the Justice Department isn't offering him all sorts of immunity deals to talk, and don't think for a minute he's not getting threats from his superiors if he takes them.
As far as the "Blame Bush" tactic - well, as long as Holder isn't talking, we really don't know the whole story, do we? The people who are quick to blame Holder or Obama or Bush are very similar to the people who blame Zimmerman or Martin - you are jumping to conclusions based on your own set of facts that you are likely to never verify. However - for all you people who are very quick to blame Bush - It is now almost four years into the Obama Presidency.
If we assume, for a moment, that all of this is Bush's fault - that HE was the one who started "Fast and Furious", HE was the one who got us inextractibly embroiled in Afghanistan, HE is responsible for the economy, that HE is responsible for all of our unemployment problems, that HE is the one who got us into trillions of dollars of debt, and HE is the one who shipped all of our domestic jobs overseas - if we assume all of that, there is just one question remaining - "What has Obama been doing for the last three and half years?" He is basically admitting that he either does not have the capability to fix our problems, or that he is complicit in continuing them and making them worse. Those are the only two plausible answers.
For those of you who now blame an "Obstructionist Republican Congress" - keep in mind that Obama had essentially a "rubber stamp" Congress in the first two years of his administration - a near super-majority in BOTH houses. He passed a lot of legislation while we were all distracted by the healthcare debate that stayed in the headlines. You don't have to listen to Fox News or to the Huffington Post or any of the blogs and partisan opinions on the Internet - you can go directly to http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/... to see for yourself.
He wasn't blocked. His policies simply have not worked. Reagan reversed the recession and "Stagflation" of the Carter era within the first two years of his presidency.
The "Misery Index" was gone after the first. In a country where results matter, Obama is offering us excuses. As to the original point - even if "Fast and Furious" began under Bush, it got bigger and more out of control out of Obama - HE is the president now, HE should have stopped it.
And Holder, appropriately named, is left holding the bag.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
