Which is the right check, subject access, Criminal Records Bureau or Disclosure Scotland?

Anybody who is going to be working with children or vulnerable adults needs to be checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). We do not hold the CRB application forms. These are only available via the CRB.

Their telephone number is 0870 90 90 811. Only registered bodies are able to apply for Disclosure via CRB. Therefore any individual telephoning the CRB will be advised to contact their recruiting organisation or current employer to establish who the Registered Body is that will be countersigning the Disclosure and accordingly providing a Registered Body name and number.

Should the applicant be self-employed it would appear that there is currently no route they can use to obtain an enhanced check other than through an organisation. Should the organisation not have a Registered Body the application can be routed via an Umbrella Body. Details of Umbrella Bodies can be found via the following website: www.disclosure.gov.uk/index.asp?fuseaction=umb_data or through the official CRB ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
