In the United States and other English speaking countries, also Scandinavia (I guess the harsh winter climate is due to "patriarchy" and not their location near the Arctic Circle) a woman having to put on a sweater is considered far worse, especially since we "know" 99.999999999999% of rapists get away with it. So an innocent man (feminists would consider that an oxymoron) rotting away in prison pales in comparison.
