A high end store demands a high end appearence. Take a look at the employees and try and dress smarter than them. Cover your tattoos (if you have any) with long sleeves and remove any facial or piercings and have no more than one sleeper in each ear.
Make sure your hair is in a conservative style, and you look generally well groomed. If your a male make sure you have creases ironed into your pants, and if a girl a well pressed suit skirt or slacks are the go. What characteristics do they look for?
The usual. Intelligent, well presented, experience, initative, well spoken etc etc. Same as any other retail store really. How can I be prepared?
Research! Find out everything you can about the company so you can dazzle them with insider info. If you know who is going to be interviewing you check their LinkedIn profile or even facebook if its public.
Research good answers to interview questions http://www.careerfaqs.com.au/job-interview-tips/1101/How-to-answer-interview-questions is a good place to start. Be unique, but mostly just be yourself. You don't want to get hired for being someone you are not and then have to live a charade every day.
Best wishes and good luck in your career!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
