Both nice mp3 players OK lets make a chart iPod Touch Zune 80GB Wifi Wifi 3.5" Screen 3.2" Screen Touch Screen No Touch Screen Safari No Internet Browser Cool factor Not so cool factor longest battery life long battery life Must be sync via usb can be synced via dock/wifi I think if you have a huge library that you want to carry around with you, get the Zune If you are going to sync your mp3 player every night, get the iPod touch, you can carry less but you get an overall better experience. If you have a mac computer, defiantly get the iPod .
Depends on what your needs are, as well as your current format/preferences First of all, what kind of storage space do you want, because those are two VASTLY different sizes, and that might make your decision for you. I have a LOT of music, so 8GB wouldn't serve my own purposes. I also think it is important to take into account what kind of format you are already used to using. Is all your music already in ITunes?
Because, from what the salesman at GameStop told me, you'd have to convert it all to use the Zune. Are you used to a Windows setup (as I am)? Because it might not be worth the hassle to try to convert everything into a Mac setup.
And finally, with the Zune you are able to update the firmware whenever Microsoft issues a new release. With Ipods, if you want new firmware, you have to buy a new device. I admit to a slight bias (my family has worked for IBM, Intel, and HP, so Apple is the enemy).
However, I have been looking into mp3 players for myself in the last few months and was considering an Ipod until I talked to some Zune owners and took the above factors into account. As soon as I can afford it I'll be getting a Zune ;) Hope that was helpful!.
Really depends I've got an 8GB iPhone (basically an iPod touch with a phone). It really is the best iPod Apple has ever made, and really any iPod is better than the Zune, IMO. But, if you're not considering the Nano or Classic, then you have a problem of size.
I have about 900 songs on mine, plus some podcasts and a couple audio books and I have around 2.5GB left (so theoretically about 400 more songs could fit). If that sounds like enough room, then go with the iPod, if you need more space go with the Zune.
IPod is a better choice. The iTouch is a revolutionary new piece of hardware that will make your day. But, Unless you have a need for 20,000 songs, you don't want to go for the zune.
Pretty much everything the zune boasts, iPods do better. I, personally, am going to get an iTouch when they come out with the 2nd gen. So the bugs will be ironed out, and so (hopefully) there will be more a version with bigger memory, i/e 20gb.
Overall, if you were going to rely on one thing, apple has sold millions more mp3 players than microsoft.

"That simply isn't true, when Apple releases an update you can update it through iTunes. It's pretty much as simple as plugging the ipod into the computer and click Yes.

What mp3 players download directly to the player.
Are there any advantages to getting an ipod rather than an mp3 player.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
