Which NFL team has the best record this season?

As of right now, there are two teams tied in the NFL for the league’s best record. The Atlanta Falcons have the best record in the NFC with 10 wins and 2 losses. Not only that, the Falcons have won an amazing 19 out of their last 20 home games and lead the defending champions Saints by a game for the top spot in the conference.It will be interesting to see if they can continue playing well enough to maintain the top spot.

The other team with the best record in the league is the New England Patriots who also have 10 wins and 2 losses on the season and they are coming off a pretty impressive win over their AFC East divisional foes, the New York Jets. While the Falcons are a question mark in the NFC, the top spot in the AFC is the Patriots to lose.

There are actually a couple of teams that share the best record in the NFL so far this season. In the AFC, two of those teams are the New York Jets and the New England Patriots. Both teams actually play in the same division, in the AFC East and face off against each other on this week’s Monday Night Football game so one of those two teams is going to fall off the perch of owing the best record.In the NFC, it is a bit surprising but the Atlanta Falcons are tied with the Patriots and Jets who all have identical 9-2 records.

The Falcons will take on a pretty tough Tampa Bay Buccaneers team this week so it is possible they will lose. So basically when the smoke clears from this week’s games, there may be just one team sitting at 10-2.
