It's early yet, Olympic Men's Hockey has only begun and if Canada makes it to the final and wins that will be my answer on February 26th. Today however I must admit the Olympic Men's Boardercross and Olympic Women's Boardercross have been by far the most exciting formats for an event. They start off with qualification, where each rider goes down the hill by themselves through the boardercross track and try to earn the fastest time, top 20 advance, then they have heats of 4 riders going down at a time, 2 boarders get eliminated each run until they reach the final.
Of course, I cant post video of the events I saw because the IOC would hate for me to share the beauty of this sport with you, but I did however find a video from the 06 Olympics youtube.com/watch?v=FupE0qeYVaI I wonder if this will work internationally, but you can watch a replay of the event here http://www.ctvolympics.ca/snowboard/results-and-schedules/event=sbw490000/phase=sbw490900/replay.html.
My favorite sport is hockey, so I am watching all the hockey action. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the two games on Thursday each of which went to shootouts. Canada beat Switzerland, 3-2, and Slovakia upset Russia, 2-1.
Howevee, I am not a fan of shootouts and think they should be eliminated from the Olympics and the NHL (there are shootouts in the Stanley Cup playoffs).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
